sick leave certificate for your patient through new Sheryan

To: All Licensed Health Facilities – Private Sector

In order to issue sick leave certificate for your patient through new Sheryan, kindly note the following:

The healthcare facility should have valid license; and enough balance of purchased sick leave certificates. If a facility has multiple branches, sick leave needs to be purchased for each branch.

• Licensed Physicians and Dentists can issue sick leave certificate from the “Professionals” account only. The request shall be processed within 2 minutes.

• General Practitioner:  can issue up to 5 days. Any Sick leave for more than 5 days will be auto-rejected

• Specialists: can issue up to 15 days and it will be processed within 5 minutes. If the duration of sick leave exceeds 15 days, the application should be supported with evidence(s) such as discharge summary, medical report, Surgery report,.etc.; and will be subject  to DHA review and approval.Consultants: can issue up to 30 days and it will be processed within 5 minutes.  If the duration of sick leave exceeds 30 days, the application should be supported with evidences such discharge support, medical report, Surgery report, etc.; and will be subject to DHA review and approval.
