الالتزام بطريقة صرف الأدوية بالصيدليات

Dubai Health Authority presents its gratitude for your constant cooperation; Health Regulation Department  accordingly,  would like to draw your kind attention to comply with the dispensing mode for medicinal products as approved by ministry of health and prevention under the following categories:

·       POM: Prescription Only Medicine

These medicinal products must be dispended by a licensed pharmacist (inpharmacy) ONLY upon receiving a prescription from legitimate Healthcare professional (physician) , such as but not limited to: chronic disease  medications, Antibiotics ,High alertmedication and hormones, these products must not be stored in direct access toconsumers.

·       OTC: Over The Counter

 

Medications, these medicinal products may be dispensed without aprescription such product may be stored in direct access to customers

·       GSL: General Sale List

 

These medicinal products may be sold in pharmacies and outlets such as supermarkets with controlled storage conditions.

DHA urges all health careprofessionals and healthcare facilities to comply with regulations to avoid any future disciplinary.
