Invitation on -the Training Program for "Brain Death Certification"

 Greetings

 

The Health Policies and Standards Department at the Health Regulation Sector- DHA is pleased to invite you to attend a training program on:

 

"Brain Death Certification"

 

The training program is in collaboration with The National Centre for Regulating Human Organs and Tissues Transplantation, Ministry of Health and Prevention, which aims to create awareness and improve best practice on declaration of death by neurological criteria in the Emirate of Dubai.

 

Training Program Prerequisite:

• ICU Physicians registered in the training program have to successfully complete the Neurocritical Care Society online course with multiple choice questionnaire.
• The questionnaire platform will be available from 16th April – 10th May 2023.
• The deadline for registration is 10th April 2023.
• Details of the online questionnaire platform will be provided upon the completion of registration.
• Upon the successful completion of the online questionnaire, the participant shall attend a one day training program on:

 

14 May 2023 at Event Center, Festival City

(OR)

16 May 2023 at Emirates Health Services Training Center

 

•  For training program registration each hospital shall provide the below details of its ICU physicians by emailing to MonitoringKPIs@dha.gov.ae :

                         

                                 ( Details: First name, surname, country, designation, Email address, and attending date ).
