This service allows healthcare facilities to renew their full-time or part-time professionals' licenses. The validity of the license is extended from expiry date to the chosen validity period.

Who Can Apply

Prerequisites

    • Valid medical fitness report for professionals who are 65 years or older
    • Valid medical malpractice insurance covering the professional
    • Fulfil the minimum annual CME/CPD requirements as mentioned in the PQR
    • Pay outstanding fines (if applicable)

Required Documents

    • Valid passport copy (if not previously updated on the system)
    • Valid emirates ID (if not previously updated on the system)

    • Draft applications that are inactive for over 3 months will be cleared from the account. A 15 day reminder will be sent to the registered email.

Service Limitations

    • Professional License can be renewed 90 days prior to expiry date  
    • Professional must not be blacklisted/revoked 
    • Professional's full-time license cannot not be renewed if the license has been expired for more than 6 months 
    • Professional's License cannot not be renewed if the professional requires supervision and the Full-time supervisor is not available in the facility  
    • Professional's trainee license cannot be  renewed if their training period is complete 
    • Professional's part-time license cannot be renew if the full-time facility no longer grants a part-time approval for the professional 
    • Professional must not have unpaid outstanding fines

Penalties will be applied for late full-time license renewal: AED 600/month (for Physician/ Dentist), AED 200/month (Nurse/ Allied Health/ TCAM).
